How it Works:
- CHOOSE YOUR PIECE: We have many different pottery pieces to choose from including, vases, mugs, plates, serving platters, wine glasses and chillers, banks, outlet covers, picture frames, animal figurines, seasonal items and much more!
*If you have something in mind that we do not carry or do not have in stock, just let us know and we can always order it for you.
- SKETCH YOUR DESIGN: Using light pencil strokes, sketch your design onto your piece. Can't think of what to draw?? No problem!! We have lots of samples and idea books. We even have stencils too!
- SELECT YOUR UNDERGLAZES: We have over 50 different non-toxic, food-safe colors for you to choose from!
- PAINT: Paint your piece. Nervous about your artistic ability?? No worries!! Feel free to use our wide selection of idea books, sponges, stamps and stencils to help you out. Tracing paper works great too!!
FIRE: When you are finished with your masterpiece, we will dip it into a clear glaze and then fire it in our kiln. Your pottery can be picked up in 5-7 days. Don’t worry, if you are just visiting Corning, we can ship your piece to you. If you need your pottery before the 5-7 days -its no problem!! For $20 extra we can get your piece to you in 2 days.
